Decoding 9/11 is the Key to Understanding Modern Geopolitics

Most observers of modern geopolitics face a heavy dose of confusion on a daily basis. The seemingly nonsensical nature of post-9/11 American foreign policy leaves too many questions unanswered, questions like “Why regime change at any cost in the Middle East?” or “Why do they hate Putin so much?” In order to answer them, one must first understand the geopolitical circumstances of the 20th century, the fall of the Soviet Union, and the lead up to 9/11.

As Halford Mackinder noted in his 1904 work The Geographical Pivot of History, the central, contiguous land mass consisting of Europe, Asia, and Africa is incontrovertibly the most populated and resource rich area in the world. Mackinder also recognized that Russia sits right in the middle of this land mass, in what he called the Heartland, meaning that any attempt at world domination and the establishment of a New World Order by the Globalist powers that be could never be successful without removing Russia as an obstacle. But as history has shown, military conquest of Russia is far easier said than done. Swedish and French campaigns chased Russian forces across vast but empty expanses before becoming bogged down and ultimately frozen and destroyed by Russia’s brutal winter. Arguably, the last successful, lasting military invasion of Russia occurred in 1240 when Batu Khan’s Golden Horde annexed Moscow and the Eurasian Steppe into the Mongol Empire.

To the Western oligarchs, the Russian obstacle was a undeniable impediment to their overall strategy. It also meant that the possibility of an alliance between resource rich Russia and industrialized Germany, the classic nightmare scenario of the West, would never go away. What’s more, any attempt to establish a Russian-led world hegemony would spring from the most geopolitically advantageous location on the globe.

With this in mind, a new plan was formulated by the elite- covert regime change. As revealed by Anthony C. Sutton’s seminal work Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, immensely powerful forces such as the Rockefellers, Morgan Bank (now JPMorgan Chase & Co.), National City Bank (now Citigroup) and other supposedly pro-Capitalist institutions and actors aided and funded Bolshevik revolutionaries like Leon Trotsky in toppling the Russian government and installing a one-party system under the Communists.

By 1917, the Marxist cultural infiltration was complete and Western elites had succeeded in capturing Russia without even firing a shot. The next step in establishing the New World Order was to merge the Soviet Union with the United States. We know this because the Reece Committee uncovered such a plan in their investigations of the Ford, Carnegie, and Rockefeller foundations in 1953.

“Rowan Gaither was, at that time, President of the Ford Foundation. Mr. Gaither had sent for me, when I found it convenient to be in New York. He asked me to call upon him at his office, which I did.”

“Upon arrival, after a few amenities, Mr. Gaither said, ‘Mr. Dodd, we have asked you to come up here today, because we thought that, possibly, off the record, you would tell us why the Congress is interested in the activities of foundations such as ourselves.’

“And, before I could think of how I would reply to that statement, Mr. Gaither then went on, and voluntarily stated, ‘Mr. Dodd, all of us who have a hand in the making of policies here, have had experience either with the OSS during the war, or with European economic administration after the war. We have had experience operating under directives. The directives emanate, and did emanate, from the White House. Now, we still operate under just such directives. Would you like to know what the substance of these directives is?’

“I said, ‘Yes, Mr. Gaither, I would like very much to know.’ Whereupon, he made this statement to me, ‘Mr. Dodd, we are here to operate in response to similar directives, the substance of which is that we shall use our grant-making power so to alter life in the United States, that it can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.'”

-Norman Dodd, chief investigator for U.S. Congressman B. Carroll Reece’s 1953 Special Committee on Tax Exempt Foundations, as interviewed by Edward G. Griffin in 1982

With the combined might of the US and the Soviet Union, Germany and the rest of world would not stand a chance, and the Globalist one world government would then be installed.

The German factions witnessed all of this, and knew that they could never resist such a alliance, or establish a hegemony of their own, if they were still divided into East and West. While the Globalists in America and Europe spent nearly all of the 20th century pushing Socialism, the policies of Perestroika began to take hold in the Soviet Union during the late 80’s, and it would have appeared that the great merger was under way. In 1989, the Soviet Union began to crumble, the “Sovietologists” and the fake intelligentsia were stunned, and the German Globalists sprang into action with a plan for quick reunification.

During the 90’s, America enjoyed its position as the sole superpower of the world. The pro-West Atlanticist politicians like Yeltsin who pushed for Perestroika would take power, and new policies of privatization developed with “help” from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Harvard Institute for International Development would result in a truly colossal amount of wealth going to a small group of Russian oligarchs. Yeltsin’s decision to sell off state-owned assets and natural resources to foreign entities for pennies on the dollar proved utterly catastrophic for Russia, but was good business for its oligarchs and Western Globalists like George Soros. Yeltsin had been conned into selling out Russia and its people, and by the late 90’s, everybody knew it.

On the other hand, German reunification went smoothly and quickly, and the country returned to its pre-war position as the economic and industrial powerhouse of Europe. The EU was formally established in 1993 via the Maastricht Treaty and the Euro was officially introduced. Monetary policy and an exchange rate mechanism were established as Europe became economically integrated into one union. Due to Germany’s central location and heavily industrialized export economy, it quickly became the strongest economy in Europe, and other countries who had become insolvent due to corruption or instability would eventually rely heavily on German prosperity.

Everything was going according to plan for the Globalists. Russia was being siphoned dry and controlled by the Atlanticists and central bankers, German Globalists were incorporating Europe into the centralization paradigm, and all of the appropriate structures and mechanisms to maintain a one world government were being installed.

And then it all fell apart on September 11, 2001.

In his excellent book on the subject, Hidden Finance, Rogue Networks, and Secret Sorcery: The Fascist International, 9/11, and Penetrated Operations, Dr. Joseph P. Farrell lays out a thoroughly researched and meticulously detailed prima facie case that the destruction of the Twin Towers, Building 7, and the attack on the Pentagon was not just an inside job by the elites here in America, but consisted of two separate operations, one within the other. According to Farrell, the first was an operation to facilitate a “new Pearl Harbor” called for by the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), which consisted of merely damaging the target buildings in order to destroy evidence of a covert slush fund consisting of trillions of dollars of stolen money, and to kick off the final sprint towards global hegemony under the leadership of American Globalists starting with regime change in the Middle East. US military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan would carve out a chunk of the rapidly developing Asian continent and isolate Africa, splitting apart Mackinder’s “World-island.”

The second operation was kept a secret from the Bush administration and US Globalists, and it consisted of the actual leveling of the towers and building 7, the hijacking of the US nuclear arsenal and its command structure (the US had assumed a strategic nuclear posture that morning with nuclear armed bombers and submarines standing at full alert), and the isolation and control of key government officials such as Dick Cheney and leaders of Congress. Dr. Farrell posits that a partial coup had taken place capitalizing on the PNAC operation in order to commit nuclear blackmail against US Globalists in order to force them into (or perhaps, out of) a certain course of action or policy.

So who was responsible for blackmailing Bush and the US elites? Farrell unveils a tangled web connecting the 9/11 hijackers and Osama bin Laden to Deutsche Bank and a shadowy organization known as the Carl Duisberg Society. Duisberg was the CEO of German chemical giant Bayer during World War One, forcefully advocating for the development and use of chemical weapons derived from the toxic waste products of his chemical dye industries. Duisberg would also merge Bayer with BASF to form I.G. Farben, the infamous manufacturer of Zyklon B for the Nazi concentration camps.

This group is just one part of what Dr. Farrell calls the “Fascist International,” a mafia-like, extra-territorial covert organization consisting of Nazi holdovers from World War II, the German industrial magnates who followed them, and various levels of peons, cutouts, and shills from all over the world. One of those peons was, apparently, Mohamed Atta, mastermind of the 9/11 attack. Citing the late Michael C. Ruppert’s Crossing the Rubicon: The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil, Atta was listed as a Carl Duisberg Society scholarship recipient and tutor from 1995 to 1997, had opened accounts with Deutsche Bank while planning the attacks in Frankfurt, and participated in a joint US and German student exchange program for four years in Hamburg. Atta even spoke fluent German.

If Dr. Farrell’s hypothesis is correct, and this Fascist International did indeed turn against the Western elites, 9/11 would have represented the beginning of a factional war within that Globalist power structure, an event that Farrell calls “the divorce.” All of which begs the question: “What could have caused this factional war?”

On January 1, 2000, Boris Yeltsin resigned his position as President of the Russian Federation and appointed his Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, as his successor. Putin immediately set about reforming everything from tax codes to criminal law to economic policy in an effort to reverse the damage done in the 90’s. The same Russian oligarchs who were enriched by Yeltsin’s policies now found themselves locked in a power struggle with the new President over the direction of the country and its people. Although the Atlanticists still had a significant presence in Russian politics, it was clear that Putin had his own plans for Russia, and they did not involve playing along with a US-led New World Order.

With the largely successful prosecution of the Second Chechen War and having survived harsh criticism for his handling of the Kursk submarine incident, Putin had established himself as the manifestation of a new, nationalist direction for Russian politics. After the debacle of Yeltsin, the Russians had responded by picking the anti-Yeltsin, and therefore, the anti-Christ to the Globalists in the US. Putin’s ascension and solidification of power meant that the fleeting window of opportunity for one world government had come to a close. More than 80 years of preparation, decades of political maneuvering and clandestine activities, and untold amounts of blood and treasure spent would soon be all for nought. Mackinder’s Heartland was pulling itself out from under the Globalist thumb.

But with Putin reigning over Russia, Europe and Germany were spared from US global hegemony. In fact, one could make the argument that Putin was, geopolitically speaking, the best thing to happen to Germany since the reunification as the EU and its Euro are now facing the possibility of disintegration. The revivification of the Russian energy industry was an opportunity for the EU to receive cheaper fuel from a region of the world which was more stable than the Middle East, as well as a means to bypass the petrodollar cartel. Once again, we are face to face with the classic nightmare scenario for Western elites- a rapprochement and alliance between Russia and Germany. Whether or not such an alliance is probable or even possible is an excellent question, but what is far more obvious is the effect of Russia’s revival in driving a wedge between Globalist factions. A wedge which would, many years later, manifest itself in the form of President Donald Trump and the Deep State Junta.

I speculate that it is the effect of this new balance of power, or perhaps a disagreement over how to respond to it and its source in the Kremlin, which would have been one cause for the schism among the Globalists, and ultimately, the “divorce” of 9/11. I suspect another cause would have been a deep suspicion among US elites towards the Germans regarding any potential role they may have played in precipitating the collapse of the Soviet Union at a time which would have benefited Germany’s geopolitical position. As stated earlier, the German reunification was handled quickly and smoothly, Angela Merkel herself assisted in this effort by serving as a deputy spokesperson under the stewardship of Lothar de Maizière, who had run on a platform calling specifically for rapid reunification.

Although Merkel and Putin may have more than a few shared interests, I don’t believe that Putin is a pawn for German Globalists. I do believe, however, that Putin is more than willing to play a role in helping China in their attempt to usurp world dominance. While environmental catastrophists in the US and EU demand carbon taxes, stifling regulations, and an end to fossil fuels, emerging markets are more than happy to continue buying Siberian gas. Meanwhile, China has the jump on the US in developing renewable energy technologies, having spent hundreds of billions of dollars on the development of solar panels, thorium nuclear reactors, and even high-voltage undersea power cables to export energy to other countries. While the US was busy spending trillions overturning the Middle East to placate the Saudis, the rest of the world was taking care of their own interests.

Because Globalists pay no mind to silly, antiquated things like patriotism or love of country, they don’t have to suffer the consequences of their misguided, megalomaniacal quest for world domination and the foolhardy attitude they embrace. The window on a US-led hegemony has closed, and a new door has been opened for China to take on the wretched mantle of Globalism with its totalitarian, Hitlerian philosophy elevating the state over God, the collective over the individual, and the end justifying the means. But please do not resent the Chinese, pity them. They have made the ultimate Faustian bargain, one which will slowly but most surely destroy the beauty of their ancient culture and enslave their many people.

An Ocean Apart: The Great Schism Between the US and the EU

It’s either fund NATO, or fend for yourselves, and the President’s insistence forced Merkel to publicly declare her position. Germany’s Chancellor chose not to play ball.

I was somewhat disappointed, but not really surprised, to witness the ouster of certain pro-Trump voices in the mainstream media. I was not shocked to learn that various social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube had begun to blatantly censor independent voices and nonconforming opinions using flimsy copyright violation claims, ambiguously drafted terms of service agreements and equally questionable personal conduct policies written by far-left political advocacy groups. The demonetization of YouTube sapped the will of many anti-Globalists on the platform, which is the primary reason why this blog is not monetized.

I also thought I could change the style of this blog to less frequent but lengthier, more detailed essays with more of an emphasis on the bigger picture, but with fake media reverting back to their old habits of Russian conspiracy theories, anonymous sources which may or may not exist, and some straight up fake news, I see there is still plenty of work to be done and fewer people to do it. The only good news is that the Globalists themselves are forever toiling away at their false narratives and distortions, and that every minute, every waking second of their day is devoted to maintaining the “big lie” that is pushed onto the American people. Those of us who are informed and willing must correct the record, so to speak.

But today, we will not be focusing on Globalist narratives as there are much bigger geopolitical realignments taking place that the fake media are not talking about at all. On his first foreign tour, President Trump had three goals: 1) be the peace through strength candidate, which he pulled off quite well 2) establish economic cooperation with US allies to fund his policy initiatives, which he did with the Saudis, and 3) secure funding for NATO.

The issue of NATO, and Angela Merkel’s refusal to pay Germany’s fair share, clearly defines the growing schism between the US and the EU. The Germans have been spearheading the push for an EU army which would free Europe from dependence on American military might, make NATO obsolete, and ultimately allow Germany and most of Europe to slip out from under the thumb of American global hegemony. It’s either fund NATO, or fend for yourselves, and the President’s insistence forced Merkel to publicly declare her position. Germany’s Chancellor chose not to play ball.

This was ultimately a poor choice, but Merkel and the EU Globalists are very much in dire straits, anyway. The European banking system is failing. Deutsche Bank has been locked into covert economic warfare with the US, and Italy’s oldest bank is on the verge of insolvency. The EU paradigm of debt-based finance, austerity programs, and the Euro have proven to be a failure. Apparently, the socialists in Europe have learned nothing from the Soviets and their inability to adapt to changes at the local level in a top-down style of governance.

And at a time when they needed help the most from their fellow Globalists across the pond, Donald Trump takes power. Had the French election gone to Nationalist and Euroskeptic Marine Le Pen rather than Rothschild banker Macron, the EU’s fate would have been sealed. But the French people have supposedly spoken, and the EU’s wretched existence will continue.

Eastern Europe, on the other hand, has decided to move on. China and Russia’s New Silk Road (AKA One Belt One Road, or OBOR) multi-trillion dollar infrastructure project has been completed. Rather than depending on sea lanes to conduct trade across Asia, goods can be transported via continent-spanning roads and railways, and Eastern European nations are eager to join in.

Notably, leaders of the EU countries most strongly objecting to Brussels policies in key areas of the economy and refugees, such as Hungary’s Viktor Orban, strongly embraced participation in China’s vast $22 trillion infrastructure project…

In remarks in Beijing summarizing his talks there, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke bluntly of an emerging global tectonic fault line. Orban declared that the old globalisation model is obsolete, noting that “a large part of the world has had enough of a world where “a few developed countries have been continuously lecturing most of the world on human rights, democracy, development and the market economy,” a direct slap in the face to the US-led “democracy and human rights” NGOs of George Soros and the CIA-tied USAID which have ferociously tried to topple the very popular Orban.

Orban added that the world today has, “arrived at a cusp between historical eras: the old model for globalisation – built on the assumption that money, profit and technological know-how are in the West, flowing ‘from there to less developed, eastern countries.’ That model, Orban stressed, has “lost its impetus.” The Hungarian leader emphasized the crucial point that Washington and the stagnating governments of much of the EU are in denial. “Over the past ten years, the global economy’s engine room is no longer in the West, but in the East. More precisely, the East has caught up with the West.”

Eastern Europe Tilts to OBOR and Eurasia By F. William Engdahl

Facing US global hegemony from the west and Chinese/Russian economic encroachment from the east, the Nazis-turned-Globalists in Germany are, yet again, dealing with a two-front war.

Leaks, Liars, and the New Political Weapon of Choice

The election of 2016 was won and lost in cyberspace, in the world of intelligence agencies, hacking, and leaks, and the war between the Globalists and their factional enemies continue there.

It always amuses me when terms and concepts once relegated to the realm of conspiracy theory and crackpots suddenly start popping up in the mainstream lexicon, words like “deep state,” “shadow government,” and “globalism” are suddenly appearing in headlines and being tossed around by those empty, talking heads on TV. The exposure of the global hidden hierarchy and power structure, and the family feud between Globalist hardliners like the Clintons and detentists like Kissinger, has shown us that the deep state hierarchy isn’t just vertically striated, but horizontally divided as well. This is, and has always been, a conflict between factions.

Which should mean that the dubious effort to prove that there is a vast, monolithic conspiracy should be coming to an end, as well as the hopeless search for that grand unified theory that can explain every event, every actor, every relationship, and all of history in one neat little package (IE “It’s the Freemasons!” or “It’s the Jews!”). Hopefully, alternative research will become a bit more nuanced with this turn of events, and the public conscious can get beyond the “conspiracy theory” marginalization term.

Because of these changes, this blog will change too. If the media has decided to inch closer to what I know to be the truth, then I will move further in that direction as well. This blog has briefly touched upon some very deep geopolitical topics like tectonic weaponry, the bearer bonds scandals, and the pedophilia rings currently being rounded up by the Trump administration, but those are just the tip of the iceberg. It is time to shed light on the deepest secrets of the Globalists, secrets like the Black Eagle Trust, the events going on in Antarctica, and what Joseph Farrel calls the “archaeology wars” between the US and German Globalists. Examining these oddities will demystify many of the seemingly nonsensical, arbitrary decisions of the Globalists, such as the Middle Eastern mission of widespread regime change.

But the subject of this post will be the fake media, and the official death of their influence as a manipulative PR tool. Their collective failure to manufacture the consent needed for a Hillary Clinton presidency showed that the age of mass media collusion and perception management has come to an end. The election of 2016 was won and lost in cyberspace, in the world of intelligence agencies, hacking, and leaks, and the war between the Globalists and their factional enemies continue there.

Perhaps the most readily apparent example of this new paradigm is the Rachel Maddow fiasco. Maddow’s “expose” of the President’s 2005 tax returns was a spectacular failure, and the current theory is that Trump himself furnished the returns as they were fairly benign. If true, she fell for what intelligence operatives call “chumming the waters” using black propaganda. But the question weighing on my mind is how she could have fallen for such a ruse. Maddow is intelligent, she is a graduate of Stanford, an Oxford Rhodes Scholar, and a Globalist propagandist on par with Ivy Lee and Joseph Goebbels. I am inclined to believe she chose suicide by Trump rather than trying to maintain the untenable position of a Globalist shill.

Without a Globalist administration to support them, the fake media have lost nearly all of their inside sources and have been relegated to the role of the outsider, and relying on leaks. Even worse, President Trump’s ability to circumvent the fake media has severely crippled their ability to control the narrative, which has sent the press into a frenzy. The Globalists know this as well, so the media has been tasked with pushing the Russian hacking conspiracy theory in an effort to distract Democrat voters from the disaster of 2016, and the continued rule of corporatist cronies like Schumer, Pelosi, and Perez. With their credibility in tatters, and public trust levels in single digit numbers, their job is to peddle wishful thinking to their dwindling, disillusioned audience in an effort to reunite the shattered left.

EU Globalists like Merkel in Germany have quickly recognized this new paradigm of weaponized leaks, and a particularly damaging leak of emails targeting Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak exposed efforts to manipulate the Turkish press and social media as well as ties to ISIS oil smuggling via a firm called Powertrans. Albayrak happens to be the son-in-law of Turkish President/Dictator Recep Erdogan, and the leak has worsened the totalitarian, authoritative image of Turkey’s government. When a journalist from the German newspaper Die Welt began to report on it, he was arrested for disseminating terrorist propaganda.

As the spat between Ankara and Berlin becomes increasingly angry, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Deniz Yucel, a Die Welt reporter with dual nationality, a “German agent” and a member of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Erdogan says Yucel was a PKK plant with German support

Dictators have a habit of seeing spies around every corner, and the allegation may have just been a convenient excuse to silence dissent, but Erdogan would be right to anticipate a German/Globalist offensive in the theater of cyberspace. Relations between the two countries have finally hit rock bottom after the chain reaction of Brexit, and the rejection of unlimited, uncontrolled immigration meant that Syrian refugee flows would end in Turkey, placing an immense burden on the Turkish state. From there, relations between Turkey and the EU soured quickly.

Contrary to expectations, Turkey actually gained the upper hand by threatening to unleash migrants into a EU that no longer had the political will to accept them. And on more than one occasion, Erdogan threatened to unleash those migrants unless Turkey received some concession from Merkel and the Globalists. Ultimately, Turkey left the EU and the West altogether to join Russia and China in their BRICS system of finance and trade. The Chinese offered to build rail and highway infrastructure and promoted economic development. Pipeline deals between Russia and Turkey were finalized, and proposals were made to introduce Turkish agriculture to the rest of the Asian continent. In short, Russia and China had everything to offer Turkey while Merkel, the EU, and the Obama Administration had nothing.

And because Merkel has nothing to appeal to Erdogan, she has nothing to lose from attacking him, and burning down that already smoldering bridge. On the other hand, Merkel has everything to gain politically by distancing herself from a dictator who is very unpopular in Europe. Erdogan’s response was simply to arrest the journalist and accuse him of sedition, which is itself an interesting observation. Now we are presented with the question of what is to become of Globalist soft power strategy? Prior to President Trump, the fake media and NGO’s did most of the heavy lifting on behalf of the West, but now the press have discredited themselves and some very revealing leaks have some European leaders contemplating a ban of George Soros’ Open Societies NGO’s. As we have seen with Merkel and Erdogan, targeted leaking is only marginally successful in totalitarian states, so how will Globalists effect political change without starting a hot war?

And then there’s the Vault 7 leak, which was incredibly damaging to the CIA in that it revealed sources and methods. Add that to the damage that President Trump has already caused, and the Soft Power capabilities of the Globalists are almost nil.

So what do all of the talking heads have to say about this? Well, they are calling it a “new” type of warfare called Hybrid Warfare, which incorporates everything from economic inducement to full-blown military operations and the theater of cyberspace. In other words, its the old Soft Power Full Spectrum Dominance strategy but with more emphasis on cyberwarfare.

And if you are familiar with history, there is really nothing new about this multifaceted geopolitical strategy. The ancient Christian crusading orders of the Knights Templar and the Knights Hospitaller operated their own intelligence networks, ran their own independent financial systems, and were considered sovereign orders that worked for the Papacy and the Holy See to secure Palestine, but were not governed by them. The Knights Templar became so powerful, they were purged by Pope Clement V. Royally chartered mercantile companies such as the East India Company and in particular the Dutch East India Company also had their own intelligence networks and were essentially the technocrats of their day with an expertise in maritime navigation, ship building, and control over Asian trade. Thus began the strategies of large-scale economic inducement and cultural infiltration that continues to this day.

So perhaps it’s true what they say- there really is nothing new under the sun. Granted, cyberwarfare is relatively new, but the war of ideas stays the same no matter the technology or the medium. The invention of the printing press allowed the mass dissemination of ideas during the Protestant Reformation as well as the American Revolution, and it seems with the fall of the fake media and the rise of the internet, another new revolution has begun with the victory of President Trump. A global counterrevolution is taking place in Britain, France, Italy, and the Netherlands, and the Globalists are far, far behind the curve.

Fake News, the Paradigm Shift, and Luttwak’s Voice of Authority

By taking the mainstream media’s new favorite term to marginalize and discredit and turning it back on CNN, Trump is using his bully pulpit to flip the paradigm.

As President-elect Trump’s inauguration inches closer every day, the geopolitical earthquake of his victory has driven the Washington political establishment into a frenzy. The response has been, among many other things, a smear campaign in the mainstream media, and the war of words came to a head last Wednesday when Trump held his first press conference since winning the election.

After Buzzfeed and CNN reported on a set of documents purported to be an intelligence report outlining a Russian control file on Trump, a report that was unverified and unverifiable, Trump shot back at the media outlets, calling Buzzfeed a “failing pile of garbage” and CNN “fake news.”

On Sunday, it was reported that the Trump administration and incoming Press Secretary Sean Spicer were considering holding future White House press briefings outside of the West Wing in order to facilitate more reporters from a variety of media. This is a direct assault on the corrupt culture of DC and the cozy relationship between the press corp and the White House. By deliberately expanding the membership of the White House press corp, and taking them out of the West Wing, the prestige and luster of being a White House correspondent is severely lessened. Reporters who may have been more amenable and non-confrontational during press briefings for fear of losing their membership to this exclusive club would have no reason to continue pulling their punches. And don’t expect to see any more White House Correspondents Dinners with Seth Meyers in the future.

But Trump’s attack on CNN, christening them fake news and winning applause from the crowd, represents something very subtle but significant. By taking the mainstream media’s new favorite term to marginalize and discredit and turning it back on CNN, Trump is using his bully pulpit to flip the paradigm.

The Globalists know that as they lose power in national governments, they will also lose influence and legitimacy. As Globalist career politicians like President Obama, David Cameron, and Matteo Renzi step down, the influence and weight of their positions may fall to bolder, more nationalistic candidates like Trump.

Edward Luttwak, in his book Coup d’État: A Practical Handbook, describes this specific type of institutional influence as the “voice of authority.” According to Luttwak, a crucial component to every coup is occupying that voice of authority. In your typical dictatorial regime change scenario, that would mean gaining control over the state-run media networks and whatever palace or capitol building the dictator occupies. The coup planners will then have the ability to control the narrative and shape the perception of their rebellion in order to gain legitimacy while degrading their opponents.

51non-sfill

A similar situation is happening right now in the US, but in a much more peaceful and nuanced manner. Due to the separation of powers, there is no sole position or organ in our federal republic that has this voice of authority. Instead, it is spread among key parts of the three branches of government. With Trump and the Republicans taking powerful positions at the top of two branches of government- the Presidency with its bully pulpit and the Supreme Court- the ability of the Globalists to control the narrative and frame the ideological debate is diminished substantially. Stuck with their increasingly obsolete mainstream media mouthpieces, the Globalists’ Nazi-style program of Weltanschauungskrieg (worldview warfare) is crumbling before their eyes.

So their response is to imitate Trump. There is now a very clear reversal of attitudes between Trump and Globalist operatives with the Globalists now making outlandish allegations, questioning the integrity of the election and the legitimacy of the next President, riling up and radicalizing their hardliners, and staging large rallies in the form of protests. The new Globalist strategy is to feign populism, something that became apparent to me in a previous post I wrote about French Presidential candidate Francois Fillon.

The depth of this deception was made clear about a week ago when the formerly Eurosceptic Italian 5 Star Party headed by comedian Beppe Grillo were outed as a Globalist front funded by George Soros.

“Soros, working from behind the scenes in New York and London, engineered a coup over this past weekend.

“Grillo was convinced to abandon his alliance with UKIP and offer to join the European Parliament’s extremely pro-EU bloc — the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE).”

“There was one major glitch for Five Star and Grillo.

“ALDE refused to permit Five Star to join its parliamentary bloc.

“However, the damage was done. The anti-EU Five Star, which has wrested control of the mayors’ offices of Rome and Turin, had been exposed as a Soros front.”

Soros Cementing Control Over Europe’s Left

Almost immediately after this revelation, a Hungarian party leader called for all of Soros’ NGOs to be “swept out” of the country. Such is the price of clandestine political operations as Soros and his organizations have already been banned from Russia. Don’t be surprised if other nations start expelling Globalist fronts for interfering in their political systems.

george-soros-ukraine

All of this geopolitical and populist upheaval proves the Globalists’ strategies are no longer working. The coining of the term “fake news” to replace “conspiracy theory” is a perfect example of how the Globalists have had to change their tactics to deal with exigencies. By granting only the mainstream media the ability to report the “real news,” the Globalists have come to rely entirely on the reputation of the media to maintain their narratives. After the confrontation with the President-elect and the proposal to remove the press corp from the White House, Trump is putting pressure on the media to abandon the Globalist narrative.

The media would do well to do so. As I have stated previously, the Globalist narrative pertaining to Russia is designed to head off any prospect of a Russian reset and the implementation of detente politics. But in an effort to defame Trump, the Globalists have extended themselves past the point of credibility when most news outlets passed on the “docier.”

The fact that Trump compared the leaking of the alleged report to Nazi tactics is quite ironic. After the defeat of the Nazis, the part of Hitler’s intelligence apparatus responsible for spying on the Soviets was incorporated into the CIA. The organization was called Gehlen Org after its head, Nazi Major General Reinhard Gehlen, and for the beginning of the Cold War, the CIA relied entirely on Gehlen Org for their intelligence on the USSR. This organization, and the CIA by extension, had been heavily infiltrated by East German Communist spies almost from its inception. One notorious double agent, Kim Philby, spoiled Gehlen Org’s plan to keep Communism out of Poland via the clandestine WiN Operation. The truth is Russia has always had a formidable and competent intelligence program to keep up with the West

philby

Keeping this in mind, the Globalist narrative regarding Russia starts to become even more inane. According to these intelligence sources, not only have they caught Russia interfering with a democratic election, but they have also obtained the Russians’ control file on Trump. If true, and that’s a big if, this would be a stunning loss for Russian intelligence. Not only would they have been caught with their hand in a very big cookie jar, one that Putin knows would cause severe blowback, but precious blackmail material saved to be used during political expedient times has been leaked to the public, making it far less useful. The more I read into this cartoonish narrative, the more it sounds like wishful thinking.

Accepting that Russia did hack the DNC, the question now becomes “who leaked it?” Julian Assange himself has hinted that DNC staffer Seth Rich was the perpetrator, not the Russians.

“[Assange] hinted darkly that the slain man had been a source in his organization’s recent publication of 30,000 internal DNC emails. The fallout from that embarrassment had led to the firing of several top Democratic Party officials.”

“‘What are you suggesting?’ a startled interviewer from Dutch television asked him.

“‘I am suggesting,’ Assange said, ‘that our sources, ah, take risks, and they, they become concerned to see things occurring like that.’ His organization later ‘clarified’ on Twitter that ‘this should not be taken to imply that Seth Rich was a source for WikiLeaks or to imply that his murder is connected to our publications.’”

Seth Rich: Inside the Killing of the DNC Staffer

But all of this argument and debate ignores a key point. The media continues to frame the “Trump vs. CIA” debate as something legitimate. The reality is that Trump will be the President, Commander-in-Chief, and head of the Executive Department. That means he will have control over the CIA, and if his prerogative is to remove Globalist stalwarts from their positions and send the “CIA Cowboys” riding off into the sunset, he has every right to do so.

And last but not least, Trump had some very interesting comments on blackmail and pinhole cameras. He warned those present that it is common practice for foreign intelligence services to hide recording devices in hotel rooms, but I wonder if this may have been more of a warning to Trump’s political opponents than to those who travel internationally. Recalling the Project Veritas tapes that caught Democratic party operatives inciting violence at Trump’s rallies and busing voters from poll to poll, I wonder if Trump has even more politically incriminating footage that he could use against his enemies.

We may find out after the 20th.

The Beginning of Geopolitical Upheaval and a New Economic Order in 2017

In order to win back trillions of dollars in repatriation, Trump, through his appointees, has called for the establishment of a new economic order.

After talking about the geopolitically obstructionist nature of the Russian hacking theory in my last post, one might wonder exactly what the Globalists in the DC establishment are obstructing. We already know what the obstructionists want: open borders, the outsourcing of jobs in the “pivot to the Asia,” coziness with the Saudis, endless foreign wars and conflicts, and so on. But what does Trump, and most tellingly, one of his appointees tell us about his geopolitical goals over the next four or eight years in office?

United States

Many are wondering how Trump plans to fund an infrastructure repair bill while cutting taxes. The money has to come from somewhere, and repatriation of trillions of dollars from offshore accounts, foreign investment from allies like Japan, and lots of deregulation are keys for the Trump administration. Repatriation of funds is paramount, or else the administration will fall into the standard establishment protocol of Big Government Republicanism and running up the national debt.

In order to win back trillions of dollars in repatriation, Trump, through his appointees, has called for the establishment of a new economic order. For the position of Secretary of the Treasury, Trump has nominated Steven Mnuchin. Although many immediately took notice of Mnuchin’s membership in Skull and Bones and Goldman Sachs, few know the interesting details of his background.

According to Catherine Austin-Fitts, former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and founder of The Solari Report, Steven Mnuchin is the son of Robert Mnuchin, the man who ran the equity trading desk at Goldman Sachs.

“When I worked there in the summer of 1977, I used to take some of the courses in the equity sales intern program and knew all those guys, which is how I met his dad. If you wanted to understand everything about equity on the planet, all you had to do was sit on that trading floor. Bob Mnuchin ran the arbitrage desk on that trading floor. You’re talking about somebody with unbelievably deep ties for generations in the equity world.”

In other words, the Mnuchins are Goldman Sachs royalty, identifying at least one group of the deep state who have splintered from the Globalists and aligned with Trump. Catherine also notes how Steven Mnuchin was working closely with the architects of the housing market collapse, siphoning trillions of dollars out of the US economy and taking it elsewhere.

“So the idea of taking the people who engineered the financial coup d’état and using them to bring the money back is certainly interesting. If you’re talking about a machine that has real power, the question is: Can you get it to have a positive return to the taxpayer?”

That is indeed the question at hand. When the old Soviet Bloc countries transitioned to capitalism, debt/equity swaps and equity trading gave insolvent governments a way to restructure their debts by selling off state-owned assets. In Russia, this was done under the Yeltsin regime to benefit pro-Western factions within the Russian deep state, factions that still do not see eye-to-eye with Vladimir Putin.

The lure of privatization could be very effective at repatriating money to the US. For example, the privatization of space required a huge amount of fixed capital, technological development, and innovation, but the lucrative prospects of asteroid mining and space tourism drew in investors and entrepreneurs from around the world. Of course, the financial predators wait in the wings, licking their teeth at the prospect of the classic “pump and dump” to line their own pockets at the expense of society.

Trump’s call for a new economic order is a shift away from debt based finance, centralization and Globalization and a move towards innovation, privatization, and deregulation.

The Middle East

Israeli officials said they felt betrayed last week when the Obama administration decided not to veto a UN resolution condemning Israel’s territorial expansion. Yesterday, the House of Representatives voted to condemn the resolution and demand its repeal.

“The 342-to-80 vote reflected the bipartisan nature of Congress’s support for Israel. Almost all of the votes against the resolution came from Democrats, and a handful of Democrats also voted ‘present.'”

House votes to condemn U.N. security council resolution on Israeli settlements

This is yet another attempt by Globalist stalwarts to sabotage and obstruct any return to a detente policy and to force the next administration back into the status quo. Israel has recently accepted Russian investments and cooperation exploiting the Leviathan gas field, a venture that Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson would be very familiar with.

In Turkey, we have what would appear to be even more obstructionism and sabotage with the assassination of a Russian ambassador at an art exhibition. The assassin claimed revenge for Russia’s actions in Syria, but the only effect this has had has been to embolden and inflame political hardliners backing both Putin and Erdogan, putting pressure on them to act against the West, and sabotaging any possibility of rapprochement between the US and Russia.

With the US becoming energy independent, and the silent, unremarked upon death of “peak oil,” don’t expect the Trump administration to be anywhere nearly as cozy with the Saudis as a Hillary Clinton administration would have been. The Saudis have been trying to sell off ownership of their state-run oil industry in an attempt to diversify their economy- dealing mostly with defense technology and arms manufacturing. Globalist carbon policies dictated this process, but the unexpected victory of Trump, who doesn’t believe in Climate Change, have caused the Saudis to prepare for a future that hasn’t arrived yet, and may not arrive for a while longer.

Asia

After President Obama spoke at a memorial in Hiroshima, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe came to Pearl Harbor to commemorate those killed in action. There has been a sincere desire by both sides (and maybe all of the US factions) to reaffirm our alliance with Japan. With Russia somewhat uneasy over the Chinese takeover of the South China Sea, Putin has welcomed Japanese investment in Siberian gas ventures and worked to resolve the Kuril Islands territorial dispute. With all of this recent fence mending, it would appear that Japan is establishing a position of detente. Given the location of the country, and the conflict between the US and China to control trade around the Pacific Rim, it’s not a bad idea. Expect Japan to play a vital part of any rapprochement between the US and Russia.

On Christmas day, a Russian plane carrying the Alexandrov Ensemble, formerly the Red Army Choir, to a Russian military base in Syria crashed into the Black Sea minutes after take off. The day after, Vladimir Putin declared a day of mourning, and investigations have concluded that it was an accident. But with the recent assassination of a Russian ambassador in Turkey and the flimsy Russian hacking theory being aired on most news networks in the US, I would not be surprised to discover Globalist involvement to – you guessed it – obstruct Trump.

Similar to the assassination in Turkey, the death of the Alexandrov Ensemble, and suspicions of foul play, have been whipping up the Russian hardliners backing Putin to act against the US and pro-Western factions in Russia.

Europe

In Europe, and the EU, the struggle between centralization and sovereignty continues. While the British establishment are still trying to hold back the triggering of Article 50, many European Parliament politicians have become concerned over the formation of an EU military. They have pointed out that such an army would be redundant to NATO, except even more bloated and bureaucratic. Any proposed EU army would also suffer from the same complications in coordination and logistics that NATO suffers from- i.e. language barriers and the need for mass standardization. On top of that, the US and the UK, two of the largest military powers in the world, will not be members of the EU, excluding their military might from an EU army.

In other troubling news, Yves Chandelon, the NATO Auditor General and the man in charge of investigating the international funding of terrorism, was found dead from a gunshot wound in Brussels. The official cause of death has been ruled a suicide, but Chandelon’s family disagrees. Could this be an effort by the Globalists to cover for their friends Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar? It is these three nations who have been implicated in the funding and nurturing of ISIS. Or perhaps this is a measure by the Globalists to rid themselves of further oversight, so they can continue their clandestine operations to manipulate world affairs well after President Obama leaves office.

The EU Experiment is Failing… Badly

Facing movements like the 5-Star Party, Marine Le Pen’s National Front, the Dutch Party for Freedom, and many other groups and leaders, the bureaucrats in Brussels have started to panic a little.

Several weeks ago, following the Brexit and other uprisings throughout Southern Europe, I began to question the continued existence of the European Union. A combination of non-elected leadership, years of austerity measures, open borders policies, and Russian sanctions hurting European businesses have inspired the movement to leave the EU.

In Italy, Prime Minister Matteo Renzi’s referendum to amend the constitution has been rejected by the Italian people, and he has resigned his position. The proposal sought to provide stability to the Italian banking system and the government, which has gone through 63 administrations since the fall of Mussolini during World War II. Renzi’s opponents rejected the bill for being poorly drafted and somewhat vague, weakening democratic representation in Parliament, and centralizing power in the cities and away from the provinces.

Although this isn’t explicitly an anti-EU vote, it certainly rejects all of the centralizing, autocratic tendencies of Brussels. Furthermore, most of the votes garnered by these anti-EU movements come from the less-populated rural areas such as the provinces. If anything, it’s more of the same, and the Italians have rejected it.

Not long after the “Renzignation” the value of the euro plummeted.

“The euro was under the gun on Monday, skidding to a 20-month low after Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said he would resign following a stinging defeat on constitutional reform that could destabilize the country’s shaky banking system.

“Opinion polls show Renzi’s Democratic Party (PD) is neck-and-neck with the 5-Star [Party], which has called for a referendum on Italy’s membership of the euro currency.”

Euro slumps as Renzi vows to quit after Italy referendum loss

Facing movements like the 5-Star Party, Marine Le Pen’s National Front, the Dutch Party for Freedom, and many other groups and leaders, the bureaucrats in Brussels have started to panic a little. This recent article shared by Dr. Joseph Farrell over at Giza Death Star quotes European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker advising European leaders against holding these anti-EU referendums.

“Regarding referenda on EU membership, I think it is not wise to organise this kind of debate, not only because I might be concerned about the final result but because this will pile more controversy onto the huge number already present at the heart of the EU.” – Jean-Claude Juncker

Even Merkel in Germany has begun to soften her stances in response to her party’s drubbing in the last local elections. Formerly a staunch supporter of muslim refugees and multiculturalism, Merkel has now advocated for a burqa ban similar to France. Although I don’t agree with forcing women to cover their heads in public (or barring them from getting an education, income, and driving for that matter), I shudder at the thought of giving the government the power to decide what people can or cannot wear and the duty to enforce such laws with fines or imprisonment if necessary.

The French Establishment’s Answer to Their Trumpian Candidate and a Possible Frexit

Le Pen may be the most dangerous opponent to the EU bureaucrats due to her pedigree, her success in reforming her party’s image, and her push to pass a referendum allowing French citizens to vote to leave the EU.

With the stunning results of the Brexit referendum and the historical upset of a Donald Trump victory, a world-wide movement to reject Globalism and open borders has made their message clear in Europe and have taken the Presidency in America. The next battleground appears to be the French 2017 Presidential elections, with voting set to begin April 23rd.

Although it could be argued that Putin was the first modern leader to stop playing by the Globalist’s rules when he invaded South Ossetia in 2008, Putin has never been a good role model for politicians in the West due to his autocratic nature. On the other hand, Silvio Berlusconi had just won a third term as Prime Minister of Italy in 2008, and many European commentators have been pointing out the similarities between him and Trump since the latter announced his run for President.

“‘The most powerful way to oppose [Berlsuconi], but it was never really done seriously, was to try and understand what his voters want and try to address the need of his voters. No jokes, stop shouting, stop crying, stop saying: ‘It is a horror and disaster’; try and seriously understand what his voters want, and the left was never really successful in doing that,’ [Giovanni] Orsina said.”

If Berlusconi is like Trump, what can America learn from Italy

Berlusconi may have been the prototype for Trump in terms of persona and spectacle, but more importantly, his populist leanings and later Euroscepticism very closely parallel the nationalist tendencies of Trump and the UKIP. It was these populist policies that addressed the needs of the Italian voters and outshone all of his personal flaws.

Over in France, Marine Le Pen leads the National Front party, and supports policies that are openly nationalist and protectionist. Le Pen is not a lippy, spray tanned billionaire like Trump and Berlusconi, her father led the National Front for 40 years and she has been active in politics since 1998. Le Pen may be the most dangerous opponent to the EU bureaucrats due to her pedigree, her success in reforming her party’s image, and her push to pass a referendum allowing French citizens to vote to leave the EU. Yes, she wants a Frexit, just like Britain’s Brexit.

In response to a growing global movement against their policies, and the further potential of a breakup of the EU, the French political Establishment have chosen Francois Fillon to be the Presidential candidate for the Republican party. Fillon served as Prime Minister under Nicolas Sarkozy, an EU Globalist who almost went rogue when sanctions on Russia began to seriously degrade the French economy. Both Sarkozy and Fillon are your typical big government conservatives espousing oligarch-friendly tax cuts while implementing tax-subsidized government welfare and stimulus programs to run up deficits and debts just like George W. Bush.

In an attempt to woo voters away from Le Pen, the Republican party and Fillon has ceded many positions on their platform to populist sentiment. He’s taken a strong stance against Islamic terrorists, favors a reset with Russian relations, and is somewhat socially conservative. But the one area where the bureaucrats in Brussels won’t release their grip is the economy, and Fillon toes the line in this respect. Fillon’s crusade against budget deficits and debt can only mean one thing for an EU country – austerity measures. He has also rejected the protectionist measures of the National Front, insisting instead that French workers embrace job retraining and the offers of employment given to them afterwards.

If that last part about job retraining sounds familiar, it’s because it was a major issue that popped up during the American election. Many inhabitants of the Rust Belt, the region of the country that may have handed Trump the election, suffered under deindustrializing trade deals like NAFTA, and did not want retraining. They wanted to keep their jobs.

“To counter Trump’s populist appeal, [Mahoning County Democratic Party Chairman David] Betras urged Clinton to go vigorously after blue-collar workers by promising to bring back jobs. The key, Betras argued, was to have this message delivered not by politicians but by local blue-collar families in radio and television ads across the region. ‘The messages can’t be about job retraining,’ he wrote. ‘These folks have heard it a million times and, frankly, they think it’s complete and total bullshit.'”

These Rust Belt Democrats Saw the Trump Wave Coming

So why do the Globalists insist on making the same mistake in France? It’s because the EU common market, and the combined economic cooperation of France and Germany, is the only thing keeping the EU and the Euro afloat. Any advice from political pundits and commentators to address the needs of the voters directly will be ignored because it can’t be followed due to geopolitical circumstances and bureaucratic inertia. The current economic paradigm of the “pivot to the East” entails the outsourcing of heavy industry and manufacturing to countries like China, Vietnam, and India in order to build more robust international trade ties and one large, interconnected world economy. Le Pen, and the threat of a Frexit, could undo all of that.

In pursuit of such a system, the EU has rejected national sovereignty, borders, and job security for their people. Anybody with half a brain can see that the Free Trade position is untenable, but the EU bureaucrat bankers and career politicians in Washington, London, and Berlin have been so dependent on public relations, focus grouping, consensus building, sugarcoating their failed policies and painting the leaves green that they have forgotten what is real.

Russia, Turkey, and Israel Plot the End of the Syrian War

Washington has offered European energy markets in exchange for Israeli support for toppling Assad, but Israel has fashioned its own deal with – you guessed it – Putin.

While President Obama uses his remaining time in office campaigning for Hillary Clinton, and possibly violating the Hatch Act, Vice President Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry have been busy trying to mend bridges with Israel. After the discovery of the Tamar and Leviathan natural gas reserves under the Mediterranean Sea, Israel now has the potential to become a player in the world energy markets. As Russian oil is being cut off from energy-hungry Europe via the battles over Ukrainian and Syrian pipelines, the Globalists want Israeli gas to fill the void in the market.

Russia, Turkey, Israel and a New Balance of Power – F. William Engdahl

But the division between the US and Israel has only widened since the passage of the Iran nuclear deal, which the Israelis were violently opposed to, even threatening to bomb Iranian nuclear facilities. Washington has offered European energy markets in exchange for Israeli support for toppling Assad, but Israel has fashioned its own deal with – you guessed it – Putin.

“Imagine the horror then on John Kerry’s ashen stone face when he learned of another development involving Turkey and Israel. Erdogan, reportedly on Israeli urging, extended a public apology to Russia for the November, 2015 shoot-down of the Russian jet, and agreed to pay compensation to the Russian state and the family of the murdered pilot. Erdogan did the unexpected. He publicly apologized and met all Russian preconditions for restoring diplomatic relations. There is an old New York expression, ‘The fly in the soup,’ indicating some detail that ruins the broth. For Kerry, Washington and the oligarchs who run them, Putin has just become the huge Russian Brown Bear in the US Middle East soup.”

After Erdogan restored relations with Russia, Netanyahu welcomed Russian financial assistance and investment with the Leviathan and Tamar ventures. Now, Russia has replaced the US as the deal maker, and may have found a way to circumvent the West’s barriers to the European market. What’s more, Russia has also taken over Syrian air space with their S-series missile systems, so any attempt by Washington to interfere with the pipelines would precipitate a war. In order for Israel, Turkey, and Russia to fully benefit from this arrangement, the war in Syria must end, and joining with the US in their five year quagmire against Assad is antithetical to Israeli goals for the region. Since Turkey sits on the doorstep of Europe, how can this arrangement actually penetrate into the EU?

The loss of Britain from the EU means that the only remaining economic counterweight to the German powerhouse is Italy. As it turns out, Italy has suffered severely under the Russian sanctions over Crimea as well as the Syrian refugee crisis, and now Italian, French, and German politicians have discussed and met with their Russian counterparts to put an end to the sanctions. Part of that effort may involve the deals already being made by Israel and Turkey, and Italy could be a part of that deal as it lies between Europe and the Middle East.

And there are some very, very tenuous clues that Italy is wandering off of the reservation. If you read the previous article concerning Obama’s executive order on space weather, I speculated that both the Globalists in Washington as well as the Russians have sparingly used covert tectonic weaponry as a means to overcome the nuclear deterrent. If, and it’s a very big if, this type of covert warfare has extended into Europe, then it might explain why Italy has been ravaged by four destructive earthquakes in just three months. And if Italy has been attacked covertly, it probably wouldn’t have been at the behest of the Russians.

Merkel’s Attack on the Internet Giants and the Growing Rift Between American and EU Globalists

Whether doing too much or doing too little, the social networks will never be able to please Merkel and her toadies in Brussels.

Angela Merkel, current Chancellor of Germany and the loneliest politician in the world, has recently accused the American internet giants Facebook and Google of using their search algorithms to create echo chambers and stifle public discourse in Europe.

Angela Merkel: internet search engines are ‘distorting perception’

All of which is ironic as the EU had just accused the big social networks of not involving themselves enough in public discourse. After the Paris Terror attacks, the EU developed a “code of conduct” agreement for Facebook, Google, Twitter and Microsoft pushing the censoring of racially-motivated and violent hate speech. At a 2015 U.N. development summit in New York, Merkel herself was caught on a hot mic pressuring Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to crack down on hate speech in his platform. Merkel and the EU’s multiculturalism and open borders ideology intentionally misconstrues a distrust and skepticism of unvetted refugees and migrants as racist, Islamophobic, and xenophobic hate speech. By allowing the migrants to flow unabetted, war and regime change in Syria and other middle eastern nations can continue. Popular support is needed to facilitate this.

There are many in Silicon Valley who readily identify with the Globalist mission. Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg is actively assisting the Clinton campaign, hoping to become Treasury Secretary in a Clinton administration. Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has been working directly with Hillary’s campaign since October of 2014.

Twitter also gave into the pressure and formed the “Twitter Trust & Safety Council,” comprised mostly of Progressive organizations who have bought into the conflation of an actual western liberal concept of equality under the law with freedom from societal ills. This misconception legitimizes political correctness, accusations of hate speech, and various other pseudo-philosophical, pseudo-intellectual guilt tripping, shaming and bullyism. Ever since then, Twitter’s value as a company has been on a downward trajectory. The reality is, bureaucracy and regulation, no matter how well-intentioned, displace freedom. Constantly being afraid of having your message conflated with any kind of bigotry is not fun, it’s repressive and uncomfortable. Twitter is now laying off 9% of its employees and shutting down Vine.

End Of The Vine: Twitter Says It’s Closing Video App Amid Wider Layoffs

Whether doing too much or doing too little, the social networks will never be able to please Merkel and her toadies in Brussels. These bureaucrats can only do one thing- expand the bureaucracy, and now they are trying to bring the social networks into their top-down governance structure. The EU will continue to heap edicts and regulations onto social media in order to assert de facto control over them, otherwise they won’t be welcome in the Eurozone. Control over the discourse, not protecting it, is the goal.

Although they may be giants of the internet, social media firms are still treated like pawns on the global chessboard, and are getting caught up in the economic tug of war between American and EU Globalists. After the EU fined Apple $14.5 billion for corporate tax avoidance, the US Department of Justice levied a $14 billion fine against the slowly unraveling Deutsche Bank. The Apple fine was dropped, probably because the fall of a hugely over-leveraged Deutsche Bank would have triggered another global recession. It looks like tit-for-tat, and now these American social media networks are being treated more like interlopers than guests.

But I think Mark Zuckerberg has seen the writing on the wall and realized that some of these individuals, such as Sheryl Sandberg, are willing to use a business as a stepping stone to reach their own political ambitions, and will happily jump ship if Facebook starts to sink like Twitter. Although I’m not sure if Zuckerberg genuinely cares about open political discourse or the welfare of the American people, I do believe he knows better than to let ideologues twist and manipulate Facebook until it is politicized and broken. He knows that the Globalists like Merkel running the EU and Hillary running for President, have no personal stakes in his business. They view it, and him, as a tool. When Trump supporter Peter Thiel became the target of ostracism for making a political donation, Zuckerberg knew he had to make a decision and take a stand to decide the future of his company. His leaked internal message tells the story:

EU Leaders Fear Brexit Might Still Be Contagious, Nationalist Movements

“More people yesterday voted against migrants quotas than voted originally for Hungary to join the EU…”

The backlash towards the EU’s Syrian refugee policy that first motivated the Brexit has not subsided at all. The results of recent local elections also indicated a palpable shift in support towards parties opposed to taking in refugees, showing that the movement has garnered enough followers and voting power to significantly alter elections and the balance of power in regional politics.

After the departure of Britain, the EU’s balance of power experienced a shake-up with Italy probably taking the UK’s place as the economic power second to Germany in the bloc. As soon as Britain left, the Italians threatened to leave the bloc due to its own greivances. After being bailed out by the EU Central Bank in 2009, Italy has suffered under austerity measures, high unemployment, and a banking crisis requiring more bailouts. Now, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi is holding a national referendum on those bailouts, and the failed, Keynesian economic strategy put forth by the Globalists running the EU. The last time somebody ran a referendum against EU policies, the results were poor for Brussels.

Will Italy be Europe’s next casualty as Renzi risks all on referendum?

A member of the French parliament has also cautioned the EU bureaucrats on the rise of  nationalism, referring to it as “euroscepticism” and populism, and that nearly all EU member states are tempted to follow the example set by Britain.

Hungary has been particularly outspoken about refugee policy, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban didn’t mince any words when he threatened to leave the EU over the issue. After EU bureaucrats refused to recognize a referendum against refugees that received support from 98% of Hungarian voters, pro-Brexit Nigel Farage made a fairly damning point.

“More people yesterday voted against migrants quotas than voted originally for Hungary to join the EU, and I’m beginning to think that that perhaps the Brexit vote is having a big knock on effect across the rest of the Europe.”

EU politicians mull Hungary referendum result

I would agree with Mr. Farage, as the refugee crisis is now being lumped together with other long-standing grievances, such as austerity measures, into something similar to a nationalist political platform. The leaders of the EU recognize that the Brexit can still become contagious, and how dangerous this is to their globalist policies and their power structures.
